    Radio Shack

Radio Shack is a good electronics store. You won’t find Arduino or fancy chips, but it does have good stuff. They have cell phones, some fun toys, a lot of a/v stuff, best of all (for me that is) a good amount of hobby electronics (I’ll go into more detail later), and lots more! They have a nice friendly staff, and good prices.

Radio Shack has a good hobby electronics section. They have lots of different electronic components like LEDs, switches, buttons, resistors, capacitors, relays, basic chips, sensors, and lots more. They have some helpful tools too, like soldering supplies, bread boards (the plastic ones with lots of holes in them), and some cool specialized tools.

Radio Shack is a good store, stop by a local branch today.

    Warriors

Warriors is a great series of books by Erin Hunter. There are over 20 books in the series. There are three, six-book sub-series within the Warriors series. They’re Warriors, The New Prophecy, and Power of Three. There are some other books in the series too. There are Super Edition books that are longer. There are three books that are¬†reference books. They’re Secrets of the Clans, Cats of the Clans, and Code of the Clans.

Warriors is about cats who live in clans in the wild. They hunt and fight other clans to survive. It’s very bloody and sad at times, but most of the time the cats aren’t fighting, they’re caring for their clan. This is NOT a cute, fluffy kitty book, there are cats dying left and right. It has some interesting politics in it. It’s a good book, you should read it.

    Dan Ball

Dan Ball is a great game website. The most popular game is the “Powder Game” which is a physics simulation game. The PG physics are a little different then in real-life but, it’s still fun. It is on version 8.7.
There’s a link to the PG under “Games” on the side bar. You should try it.

    Arduino

The Arduino is a great micro-controller board. The¬†micro-controller that powers the Arduino is a Atmega328 that has moderate processing power. The text based programing language is easy to use and learn. The hardware, and software shouldn’t limit you from doing basic to advanced projects. You can also get Arduino Megas that have more inputs, and outputs.

    Arduino $30

    Arduino Mega $50

I love my Arduino. Buy one and you will too

    Arduino UNO
